Patent Roll 34 Elizabeth. Part 3. 1592

Grant to William Typper and Robert Dawe of London. Gentlemen, In consideration of the good and faithful service of Edward Dyer Esquire, and on the petition for divers causes, we have granted to Typper and Dawe …(various lands in several counties) … and all tenement with appurtenances lying being in Eaton by Windsor in the County of Buckinghamshire next to the Bridge called Baldwynes Bridge on one side and the tenement of Roger Stokes on the South side, and the land now of Andrew Windsor Esq., on the east side and the tenement once of Roger Stokes on the west side, and the Queen’s way leading to the middle of the Town of Eaton aforesaid on the West side, now or lately in the tenure of occupation of Roger Kent or his assigns, and all that half-acre or arable land with appurtenances in Eaton aforesaid in our County of Buckingham, in a certain field once called Midfurlong between the land once of the Rectory of Eaton on one side and the land of Henry Jurdley on the other side… (and all that parcel of our land called Chappell Land, etc.).

To William Typper and Robert Dawe by letters patent under the Great Seal without paying any fee, rendering to us the yearly value as granted by our predecessors, not being parcel of any manor or rectory.

Dated at Westminster, 30th March, by warrant of our commission by virtue of letters patent to Edward Dyer.
